Lava Stone Designs

Lava stone is porous, which makes it the perfect natural diffuser. Simply put a drop of your favorite therapeutic grade essential oil onto your finger and rub it onto the lava stone (you can also apply it directly to the lava stone). Depending on the size of the stone and oil you choose, you will benefit from the aroma anywhere from a few hours to a few days. Add another drop as needed. Typically, lava stone (like most healing gemstones) is recommended to be worn in close contact with the skin, if not directly on the skin. If you have sensitive skin, I suggest applying a carrier oil to your skin where the pendant will be touching.

The aromas of essential oils and fragrances vary in intensity. It is recommended that you begin with 1-2 drops of oil, adding more as desired. For best results change wicks when changing oils.
